meet Charlie

An artist of many facets, a student, a teacher, and a wild woman.

She became a Massage Therapist in 2018, setting her on a path of healing, cultivating deeper empathy, and the search for inner peace. That’s when her small business, Bohemian Balance, was born. Since then, she’s added Esthetics and Yoga to her skill set, giving her a well-rounded understanding
of the mind, body, and soul.

Charlie received her 200 hour YTT in Greece through Meg Shuba, creator of “Body Poetic.” Her personal yoga journey began with Meg under the stars at Forsyth Park. Her unique language and teaching style were the puzzle pieces Charlie had been looking for. It’s an honor for her to teach the style of yoga that changed her life.

Olga was born and raised in Mexico City. Her journey eventually led her to Rishikesh, India, where she trained in Hatha yoga. She has continued teaching from that same place — a place where the breath stays steady even when everything else asks you to move away.

Her work lives between ease and effort: finding comfort within the uncomfortable, softening without collapsing, and challenging without forcing. For Olga, asana has been a mirror — inviting deeper honesty into how one responds, how one holds on, and how one lets go.

After a long period of time since my last session, I was in need of a thorough deep tissue going over. I was fortunate to be able to book two hours which is better than many places that cap off at 90 minutes.

She always asks about any trouble spots, and old injuries generally require periodic attention, so she will get into those places mindfully and help to ease built up tension and fatigue with her intelligent approach and well developed skills.

I have been a client of Zoë for around a decade and she has not only kept up her practice since we first developed a patient - therapist connection, but has grown through continuing education and professional development. She has been my preferred practitioner, whether in her own studio or working in a cooperative setting.

She talked to me about my skin care routine and concerns. The facial was relaxing--comfortable table, calm music, soft light, soothing products. It included a shoulder and neck message that eased my stress. I booked for a deep tissue to release some chronic soreness that’s been building up for a while. I’ve gotten sports massages and deep tissue work before, but I have never felt better than after this massage. My body feels balanced and light.
